Worm clamps are universal fasteners designed to securely attach hoses, pipes, and ducts to joints or nozzles. Their threaded design with a nut allows for easy adjustment of the clamping force and ensures long-term tightness even under vibration or pressure luctuations.

Worm clamps are widely used in the automotive, industrial, plumbing, ventilation, and agricultural sectors. They are manufactured from various materials and in different resistance classes, which are marked W1–W5.

Clamps classes according to corrosion resistance: W1–W5

• W1 – Galvanized steel clamps. The strap, body, and screw are made of galvanized steel. Suitable for use in dry indoor areas where there is no direct exposure to moisture. An economical choice.
• W2 – Stainless steel strip, galvanized screw. Average corrosion resistance. Used in the automotive industry, ventilation systems, household appliances.
• W3 – Stainless steel (belt and body), screw made of AISI 304 or galvanized. Good resistance to moisture and weak chemicals. Suitable for outdoor use or in damp rooms..
• W4 – All components are made of stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301). Very good corrosion resistance, suitable for use in industry, food production, and marine environments.
• W5 – Top-class clamps made of acid-resistant steel AISI 316 (1.4401). Maximum corrosion resistance, suitable for use in aggressive environments – chemical, marine, pharmaceutical industries.
